Final Winter League Round, TPI Certified & Driving Range breakthrough

WHAT’S BEEN HAPPENING?

It’s been all go at the academy! The Winter League is in full flow with one lucky person who has just won a Taylormade Qi35 Driver! We are now into our final round at Valderrama We’ve also introduced TPI Body-Swing Connection to our coaching services, helping you understand how your body moves and how to improve it. Our monthly programmes are in full flow, getting everyone ready for a brilliant 2025 golf season. And, of course, we can’t forget the driving range, which is set to be up and running for spring!

DRIVING RANGE UPDATE

Concrete Slab Progress

The driving range is on track to open this spring, just in time for the 2025 golf season. Right now, we’re finishing up the foundations, with CEMPUMP pouring the concrete slab. Three bays are already done, and the final three are being poured this weekend.

DRIVING RANGE RAFFLE

WE’RE NOW TPI CERTIFIED

We are now TPI Certified! This may mean very little to many of you, so let us explain what this allows us to do to help you not only improve but also avoid going down a path that may make you worse. We’ve all done that, right?

TPI is a recognised golf fitness qualification run by Titleist (Titleist Performance Institute), which allows us to link your swing characteristics to the way your body moves. At the academy, we believe the fitness side of your performance plays a key role in understanding the WHY behind your golf game. Once we have the WHY, we have a team of professionals ready to help you improve in the area that would benefit you the most.

Winter League – Round 5

The final round of the Winter League is taking place throughout March at Valderrama, a DP World Tour venue and host of the Spanish Open.

Didn’t play in the earlier rounds? No problem! You can still join in for the final round and be in with a chance to compete and win amazing prizes.

Driving Range Build Update

Now that the groundwork is almost finished (thank God!), we can finally move on to building the undercover bays—which we can’t wait to introduce this spring.

In the meantime, we’ll start getting the range back into top shape by revamping the pathways, refreshing the decking hitting area, and prepping the grass hitting area. We’ll also be adding dividers and a new path through the woods for safe access to the grass hitting zone.
