WHAT’S HAPPENING AT EVOLUTION GOLF ACADEMY?

The snow may be falling, but that doesn’t mean the number of golfers has to drop! At the academy, we’re in full swing with the Trackman Simulator, Coaching, and Driving Range keeping the golf season alive.

It’s been fantastic to welcome so many players to the Trackman Studio Winter League. With 70 players competing in November rounds, everyone’s eyeing the Titleist GT Driver prize, alongside cash, Pro V1s, and gift vouchers – all included in the £20 entry fee, which also gets you 2 hours in the studio.

WINTER COACHING PROGRAMME

It’s been brilliant to see so many of you committing to the Winter Coaching Programme, setting the groundwork for a stronger golf game next year.

What is it?
The programme starts with an in-person lesson to assess what you need to improve to reach your goals. From there, we create a tailored practice plan to fit your schedule. All that’s left is for you to execute the plan! But you won’t be on your own – you’ll receive ongoing accountability and support to keep you on track.

COACHING SERIES OF THE WEEK

In this week’s Coaching Series, we’re focusing on controlling swing speed to hit a lower trajectory and avoid getting stuck in the trees. Head PGA Pro Will Painter demonstrates how adjusting your grip, stance, and backswing can help you manage swing speed and achieve a more controlled shot.

SwingFit – Powered by TPI, Trackman, and Bull3D Biomechanics
We’re thrilled to announce that SwingFit, a modern approach to coaching, is almost ready to launch! This innovative programme will help you understand how your body affects your ball flight, with support from our team of TPI-certified coaches.

Here’s what SwingFit will offer:

• Swing Assessment & Movement Screening: Trackman data parameters and video analysis combined with a detailed TPI movement screening to link your swing to your body’s movement patterns.

• Injury Assessment – Return to the Fairway Physiotherapy: Identify and address injuries holding you back from your best game.

• Strength & Conditioning: After your swing assessment, embark on a 6-week S&C programme to improve your strength, movement, and coachability.

TRACKMAN WINTER LEAGUE ROUND 2

After an incredible start to the Winter League, with over 100 players joining us in November, we’re excited to kick off Round 2! The course of choice is Wentworth West, host of the PGA Championship Rolex event where Rory McIlroy narrowly missed out in a dramatic playoff to Billy Horschel this September.
